Where to Start?
I love love love scrapbooking but it can also be an expensive hubby to maintain. And like many other scrapbookers out there. I have so much in my plate, baby, husband, school, work so when can i find time to scrapbook? I have so many project to continue that I don't event know where to start. I need to continue my daughter album but i know that will be a never ending. I need to do a work album and i need that one asap since i get to use it for work and I also want to work in the album for the wedding of my sister-inlaw... so what will i do first? I am basing it priority. I will start my albums for work, then the wedding album and here and there work on my daughter album and i'm pretty sure i will do my familie's album.

new storage cart....yay
i just purchased a storage cart.. it is huge. i will put my card stock, embellishments and magazines. I've been looking for one but i wanted to find the right size.. this one measures 15'x21'x25'.. so its very decent and the best of all is that i got it for only $20 at Target. I also purchase ribbon from their dollar section.. oh how i love that section.. i also saw some bucket that i want to purchase to make like gift baskets for this easter coming up. I need to find an effective way to arrange my work space.

SCAL or Design Studio
Well, I just purchase my new cricut and i've been spending a lot of time learning about it. watching videos and reading others people's comment about it.
I keep hearing this softeare"Sure Cut A lot" coming up every time and the majority of people who use the cricut prefer this software versus the Design Studio from Provo craft.
So i went online to purchase the SCAL software. you cant buy it anywhere else. I came across this lady in youtube, i went to her website and that were i purchase it. she helps you with everything. from the purchase to the installation, to the configuation of the cricut, laptop and software. The following link is her video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH2flUV2s2Q&feature=related
Her website is: http://www.scrappingtable.com/home.html
you can buy the sure cuts a lot2 software right there.. just have a bit of patience setting it up..
Now i just have to learn how to use the software.

My cricut
So i have been scrapbooking for about 5yrs now and ever since i knew about the cricut.. i just wanted it but it always seemed so expensive and things always happened so i never really bought it but after much much waiting and watching at those infomercials non-stop. i made up my mind a couple of days a go and i finally got it today. It was my valentine's present to myself. I looked through different places of where to buy it; i looked in ebay, the cricut webpage, walmart, michaels, and ebay.. i brought it down to two places, ebay and walmart.. you really get a good package at ebay but i just didnt wanted to risk not getting a warranty. so bought it at walmart with a two year warranty. The original (white one) was $250 but the colored ones (i go it color plum) were $198 so to me the color didnt really matter.. it does the same thing and i event think it looks prettier in my desk.
so now, i just have to learn how to use it and like they say the possibilities are endless with the cricut.
how everything started
Well, i just created this post because i realize i have a space for myself which is my facebook and i have a website for my other little thing, which is my face painting business but i dont really have a space for my hobby which is scrapbooking.
i got introduced to scrapbooking by my sorority sister Michelle. she is a creative memory consultant and i actually had never heard of this until she came along. we would also have a scrapbook for my club and that is how i got started.
I started my first scrapbook album in 2006, it was my baby pictures. i thought it came out really nice for being my first time. i did a 8x8 and it was given to me by another sorority sister.
then everything started building up.. buying paper, sticker, embellishment, tools. I would get my check and literally give it all to Michaels. $300 to $600 hundred a time. you can really get carried away... so to all those new scrapbookers ,, have a limit and now what that is.
i started a little corner of my one bedroom apartment,, then as the family grew so did my space.. i went on to having a little breakfast nook which was made into my scrapbook room/ office and just recently, we had the opportunity of purchasing our first home.. i asked for one of the rooms to have it as my multi purpose room and my wonderful husband gladly gave it up to me :D.
so here i am creating my scrapbook blog.
